Catalog Design & Layout

Over the years I have worked on a total of 9 volumes of Catalogs. Eight of the 9 volumes have 3 individual catalogs making up the set. These sets include Generic Costumes, Licensed Products and Accessories. With each passing year as more licenses are acquired or lost the License Catalog increases in size. The pages shown here a mere few of the layouts I have worked on in my years at Rubie’s Costume Co. The pages are layed out in Adobe® InDesign, but Adobe® Photoshop & Illustrator are used when it comes to logos, Licensed artwork, backgrounds and character art. In some cases depending on the License artwork flattened EPS’s are placed within InDesign and the costume images themselves are linked directly in InDesign.
